The working terms for Editing Factory projects and packages.
Who we are and when a booking starts
Editing Factory is operated by Moonlight Media Services Private Limited. Sending an enquiry, footage or a quote request does not confirm a booking. A booking is confirmed when we accept the scope in writing and receive any payment required by the quotation. The approved quote identifies deliverables, fees, taxes, payment schedule and milestones. Mandatory legal and consumer rights remain unaffected.
Scope and pricing
Published package prices apply only to stated inclusions. Final-video duration and source-footage duration are separate limits. Longer edits, extra formats, translation, new concepts, bespoke animation and editable project files need separate agreement. We seek approval before chargeable work outside scope.
What clients provide
Clients provide a complete brief, usable footage, brand assets, references and one authorised contact for consolidated feedback. Clients confirm they have rights and permissions for supplied footage, music, photos, logos, scripts and personal information, including required permissions from people featured.
Delivery and revisions
Schedules begin after required briefs, materials, approvals and payments arrive. Missing assets, changed instructions or delayed feedback may move dates. Urgent work requires availability and written confirmation. Factory Cut, Factory Craft and First Cut include three consolidated revision rounds per video within the approved brief. A round is one collected feedback list. Our errors against the approved brief are corrected without charge and do not consume a round. New concepts, replacement footage, changed language or duration and extra deliverables may require a new quote.
Monthly and on-site work
Factory Dedicated reserves up to 80 hours per month, including preparation, editing, graphics, revisions and exports; video quantity is not fixed and this is not an exclusive full-time employee. Working days, reporting, renewal and carry-forward are agreed before payment; there is no automatic renewal without explicit agreement. Factory On-Site reserves the agreed team for up to eight hours per booked day unless agreed otherwise. Outputs depend on footage, complexity, approvals and capacity. Clients provide organised footage, workspace, reliable power and an approval contact. Travel, shooting, overtime and extra outputs are included only when quoted.
Ownership, licences and confidentiality
Clients retain supplied material. After full payment, clients receive the agreed rights to our original work in final deliverables. Third-party music, stock, fonts, software and templates remain under their licences. Editable project files are included only when expressly agreed. Confidential work is not used for promotion without permission. White-label and additional confidentiality needs should be recorded before work begins. An editor application does not create employment or entitlement to assignments.
Payments and disputes
Payments follow the approved quotation. We notify clients before suspending work or delivery for overdue payment. Cancellation and refunds follow the separate policy. Nothing excludes remedies available under applicable law.
